With eyes shut, it's you I'm thinking of.

I don't know if I should apologise or hide my face in shame at my lack of blogging.
It's not that I haven't wanted to; believe me, I have! I suppose I've just been lacking in motivation/inspiration/time/energy. Poor excuses, I know.
Can we just ignore this break in our relationship and continue as though no time has passed?!

Tonight, I have found the motivation to blog (hooozarrr) but made very little preparation for doing so. This leaves me with no other option but to make a wish list, which is great when it's probably my favourite thing to do! With summer on it's way (I have faith in you- England,) it's the time of year in which my wardrobe needs a serious overhaul.

Even though I'm poor at blogging, I still update these places pretty regularly!

Whoy Leggings

Hi Lovelies,

I come asking for a small favour. I've entered a contest through the store WHOY, you can design your own leggings and the 3 pairs with the top votes will be made and available for sale.
I'd really appreciate it if you could vote on any that you like (IF you like any) and if you really want to see them come to life, spread the word.
It's so easy to vote; you can sign up through facebook, twitter or with an email address and it literally takes about 5 seconds.

My friend has just won the first month of entries, with 2 of her designs being made, and I think it would be pretty cool if one of my creations could win also!

Just click on this link to go to my profile and check out  my designs!

Prairie Charms Haul

I was contacted by some lovely people from the online store, Prairie Charms, to see if I would be interested in participating in 'Project Blogger.' I jumped at the chance, because let's be honest, who can resist a nice 50% off on lovely products! I had intended to only purchase a couple of items, but I got a bit carried away- here are the goodies I chose!

Kaiya Multi Wrap- £8

I love the 'home made' look of this item, and I love it even more because you can wear it in so many different ways; necklace, bracelet, hair band or bag accessory (and I'm sure in more ways if you're a little more adventurous!) I just think this is something nice to wear with a casual outfit, I always need accessories so rather than glamming something up a bit, I can go for this!

Millie Wrap Bracelet & Knot Hair Ties

Unfortunately the wrap bracelet is no longer available on the website, but this is another item that can be worn in more than just one way! I would happily wear it with or without the charms, but I think they add a nice bit of shine whilst still remaining simple and easy to wear.
The hair ties were a nice treat that had been sent to me, in purple and in red (not pictured here.)  I remember thinking how nice they looked, but didn't bother to order them. I'm so glad they were sent to me anyway as I've lived in them. They're just something nice and simple to brighten up an otherwise run of the mill ponytail, and they really do stay secure in my hair (which even normal hair bands fail to do!)

Quinn Retro Headband- £8

Headbands are something that I love the look of on other people, but I'm yet to get to grips with wearing them myself. I still have a lot of experimenting to do, which these are great for! Not only is the pattern beautiful and perfect for (what's left of the) summer, the headbands have a piece of wire running through them so they hold the shape, meaning you can twist them in to whatever you'd style like and they'll stay there!
Despite never having worn them before, I couldn't choose just one pattern, so I opted for two!

Do any of you have any advice on ways I can wear the headbands? I have fine hair so I struggle with styling at the best of the times!

Let me know if you check out Prairie Charms!

Gracefully cursed, I thirst. *FOTD*

Morning lovelies!
This is just a quick post before I shoot off to work, but I'm wearing something a little different to what I would normally wear and I thought I'd carry this theme through to my hair and face. So, I bring you today's face of the day!

I bought this lovely dress a few days ago, it's 'different' to say the least but I really do love it.
This is the pattern on the dress

(There are no full length mirrors in the house, and I'm in a bit of a rush so sorry about the picture!)

Excuse the stock photo, but here's the dress in its entirety,
 From Izabel London for £15

Now, on to the make up!

My aim was to go quite heavy on the eyes and fresh looking everywhere else. You can't see in this photo, but I have some bright pink eyeshadow as the base on my eyelids, and my usual winged eyeliner to top it off with a dark blue shadow under the water line.

As the dress has a high neck, I've pulled my hair up so that it's not too 'busy' and all of the attention falls on to the neckline.

Products!

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer
L'Oreal True Match Foundation (Rose Ivory)
Natural Collection Loose Powder (Cool Translucent)
hdBrow eyebrow palette (Bombshell)
Sheer Blusher (Life's a Peach)
MUA Eyeshadow Palette (Glamour Nights)
Topshop Gel Liner (Black)
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Barry M Lipstick (113 Sheer Pink)

* colours used

I always used to be so adventurous with colours when it comes to eye make up, but for the past 3 years or so I seem to have become settled in my ways. This has made me want to start experimenting all over again!
What do we think about bright eye make up? (and the dress, for that matter, I'm still a little nervous about wearing it!)

Spring Haul!

Hi lovelies!

It's a miracle, i'm back with a post actually somewhat related to fashion and beauty. I hope you don't mind that there's been a massive increase in my life-related posts, but a lot is going on in my life at the moment and I feel the need to share it!
Anyway, I am back with another haul! I've been an excellent bargain hunter the past couple of weeks, and I've sold a lot on amazon and ebay so I figured I could treat myself. (I'd also like to document- it's been 2 weeks since payday, and I'm still not broke. This is unheard of!)

Skirt, Crop Top, bracelets and Earrings are all from New Look. I found myself in a 90's mood! I think my choice of outfit shows.

Excuse the photo, there's a lack of long mirrors in my house and I don't have a tripod; my bad!

Teamed with my pumps from Primark, I think this makes such a fun outfit!
What's even better is that for the all of my New Look goodies, I only spent about £28. Pretty impressive I think!

I bought the bag from on a blog sale over on Kassie's blog! I love it, it's quite small which means I can't carry around half of the useless things I usually hoard and that can only mean it's doing wonders for my shoulder!

I pounced on the MUA eyeshadow palette on the same day as the above outfit was bought, can you tell?
The Macadamia hair mask has been much needed, since bleaching my hair (yet again!) to try and become a false-ginger it has been in some much needed TLC. I've only used it once so far and I can already see massive improvements. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth it!
I bought the Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser upon the recommendation of my friend as she knew I had my eye on the Liz Earle cleanser, now I've still not tried the Liz Earle one, but I'm so happy with this one that I really don't feel the need to!

These books were 99p each from The Works...I couldn't resist.

Now for a few things that aren't in the main photos above, but purchases that I am super happy with!

(Again, excuse the photo!)
These harem-style trousers are from ebay, and holy cow are they comfortable. These are ideal for that one hour of hot sun the UK will get in the future.

My bed wanted in on the Spring-style overhaul, so I swooped on this duvet set and pillow covers. I absolutely love them.

Oh look, another ebay purchase.
I found this super comfortable desk chair for £50, which I think is pretty good for a chair like this! I've ordered myself an iMac (...on finance, oops) so I needed something a little bit nicer than the plastic chair I was previously using.
(Speaking of which, my iMac arrived just as I was starting this blog post, it's still in it's packaging- that's dedication!)

For those of you who haven't heard, Paramore's new album is out and I've had it on non-stop repeat. It's so pop-rock perfect. Completely different to their old stuff, but I love it!
I was also lucky enough to go to their intimate gig in London (at a venue that old holds 650 people) and they were incredible. I queued up for a few hours but after 3 songs near the front and some drunk girl almost ripping my earrings out and bruising my ribs, I bailed out and went to stand at the back. It was an excellent choice, I could see perfectly and really appreciate the music. Everyone who attended received a numbered plectrum, and that's mine next to the album!

That's it for today! I'm still waiting for a few things to arrive in the post, so there's a chance of another haul! If there's anything here that you'd like to see reviewed, let me know!

Highstreet Haul

Hi lovelies!

I'm back with a fashion/beauty related post, after my past few seem to have strayed a little bit! I just enjoy using this space for a bit of anything and everything, I hope that's okay with you guys.
I've made a quick trip to Primark and Superdrug over the past couple of days, and I thought I'd share it with you as I managed to buy enough to keep me satisfied without breaking the bank.

As you can see, i'm still getting over excited with the prospect of summer but I did try to be a bit sensible about it.
I love the new platform Converse style shoes, over the past few months I've been in the habit of wearing something with a bit of a heel to make my short-ness less obvious to the world, but (hopefully) it'll start being too hot for boots, so these are nice little replacement.

I really love the new black and white top that I think would go nicely with pair of black skinny jeans and the shoes, it's quite a baggy top but I'm guessing that's the style, I'll probably add a brown rope waist belt to it though.

Platform Pumps- £8
Aztec Top- £8

On the even more summery side of things, I grabbed a pair of white espadrilles and this white crop top with fringe detail (perfect for still keeping your midriff covered but not overheating in the sun.) I've ordered a pair of boho baggy trousers that I think would go perfectly with these, I just need the sunshine to arrive for me to test this theory out!

Crop Top- £6
Espadrilles- £4

To add to the summer kick, I popped into Superdrug to pick up a few items (one of which I featured on my last wishlist

Sleek Blusher- Life's a Peach - £4.49
Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter- Tutti Frutti - £7.99
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine- Lychee - £3.99
MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter - £2

I've been using all three of these items for the past few days, it seems I have become addicted to orange and corals; I never would have expected this of me but snow in March does weird things to a person!

I'm pretty sure this is the first haul post i've done, so what do we think? There won't be frequent posts like this as I'm trying to be sensible with my money these days, but I like seeing that I managed to buy a few things and not having to feel guilty about it!
I decided to jazz up the photos a little bit, and hopefully they're a bit more visually pleasing!

If you guys don't already know, I now have a youtube channel so please do subscribe to me over there too! Click me :)

Blog Sale!

 Hi Lovelies!
It's that time of year where exams are on my radar, so naturally, all I can focus on is the prospect of escaping on a couple of (short holidays.) I'm imposing a spending ban on myself, and I've had a sort through some of my stuff and figured it's about time I stop hoarding the stuff I never wear and see if I can find a better home for it.
And with that I announce: AGP's First Blog Sale!
(If I announce it, it makes it more grand, right?)

I'll place it all under a 'read more' cut as there's a lot and I don't want to it to take up toooo much space, especially if you're not interested in any of it!

You can run on for a long time

You can run on for a long time

I've developed a love of all things 'fringe,' and I've replaced my usual go-to colour from red to emerald.
I've been craving a good night out and I'd love to have a reason own/wear this outfit. The heel on the boots seem like a decent height yet not uncomfortable, and also great for day time wear too!

"The Basics Tag"

Hi Guys!

I thought I'd just go ahead and try out doing my first video tag! I really enjoy watching them, so I figured there would be no harm in doing one myself.
I tag all of you! So let me know if you do this yourself and feel free to leave me a link to the post/video :)

Would you like to see me do more tags, or do you think they're a bit overdone?
Let me know what your thoughts are!

This is absolutely the most exciting time we could have possibly hoped to be alive

This is absolutely the most exciting time we could have possibly hoped to be alive

This is very similar to an outfit I wore yesterday. Instead of the studded leggings, I wore leggings with a few eyelet holes in (from Primark,) and bracelets and necklace were slightly different. The essence of it was still very much the same. It's the first time in a while I've really liked what I was wearing, and I weirdly enjoyed having my hair completely up- this is rare! I also liked my make up, but the only photo I took of it was an instagram one.

Sorry I've not blogged much this week, it's not been the best of them. I (theoretically) will be very busy with Uni assignments over the next couple of weeks, but I've got some posts in the pipeline- so keep an eye out for them!

Does anybody else ever find that once in a blue moon an entire look just seems to pull itself together and you kind of fall in love with it? I hope it's not just me...
