Gracefully cursed, I thirst. *FOTD*

Morning lovelies!
This is just a quick post before I shoot off to work, but I'm wearing something a little different to what I would normally wear and I thought I'd carry this theme through to my hair and face. So, I bring you today's face of the day!

I bought this lovely dress a few days ago, it's 'different' to say the least but I really do love it.
This is the pattern on the dress

(There are no full length mirrors in the house, and I'm in a bit of a rush so sorry about the picture!)

Excuse the stock photo, but here's the dress in its entirety,
 From Izabel London for £15

Now, on to the make up!

My aim was to go quite heavy on the eyes and fresh looking everywhere else. You can't see in this photo, but I have some bright pink eyeshadow as the base on my eyelids, and my usual winged eyeliner to top it off with a dark blue shadow under the water line.

As the dress has a high neck, I've pulled my hair up so that it's not too 'busy' and all of the attention falls on to the neckline.

Products!

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer
L'Oreal True Match Foundation (Rose Ivory)
Natural Collection Loose Powder (Cool Translucent)
hdBrow eyebrow palette (Bombshell)
Sheer Blusher (Life's a Peach)
MUA Eyeshadow Palette (Glamour Nights)
Topshop Gel Liner (Black)
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Barry M Lipstick (113 Sheer Pink)

* colours used

I always used to be so adventurous with colours when it comes to eye make up, but for the past 3 years or so I seem to have become settled in my ways. This has made me want to start experimenting all over again!
What do we think about bright eye make up? (and the dress, for that matter, I'm still a little nervous about wearing it!)

Talisman

Something about 2013 has drawn out my love of all things tribal and aztec. It's always been there, usually hidden under lots of lace or flowers. It's also causing my taste in jewellery to change, usually I'm a strictly 'only wear silver' kind of girl, but there's something about bronzed jewellery that I really do love.
I've made a few purchases and I just thought I'd share them with you :)

£5 from Urban Outfitters

£10 from shopdixi.com

£5 from shopdixi.com

£21.99 from ebay.co.uk

I also couldn't resist ordering 2 new dreamcatchers, I only have 1 and it's a bit lonely :(
Next time I complain about my lack of money...remind me of this!
